IPV6 Error with 3.4.0 & 3.4.1
When trying to change to a connection using IPV6 NetSetMan just seems to freeze as indicated below in the log. This is only if I enable the IPv6 IP setting (setting DNS only seems not to cause an issue and I don't set the gateway). Tried both manual and automatic. When trying manual, I also noticed that I can no longer type a ":" in when setting an IPV6 address (for example: fec0::1) in any of the text boxes (IP, Gateway, DNS) on the IPV6 configuration screen, instead I have to set the IPV6 address I want then import the current setting
Finally, I tried changing the settings to use WMI IP activation, and while that does not throw an error, the IPV6 settings don't change either.

Re: IPV6 Error with 3.4.0 & 3.4.1
I'll check on the IPv6 settings in the next few days. In case I can find the problem I'll include a fix in the next version (together with some other fixes that are required as well). Thanks for reporting the problem.

Re: IPV6 Error with 3.4.0 & 3.4.1
Thanks. Is it possible to get a copy of 3.3.0 in the meantime as without being able to change IPV6 addresses, 3.4.x is not going to work for me?
I deleted it after 3.4.0 installed successfully...

Re: IPV6 Error with 3.4.0 & 3.4.1
Version 3.3.0 is here:
www.netsetman.com/dl/netsetman_330.exe
Before removing the latest version please verify and provide some information:
- Which Windows version do you use?
- What do you mean by "I can no longer type a ":" in" - Nothing changed in the IPv6 interface. Are you sure you're typing it in the correct dialog? A screenshot or screenrecording (Wink) might help.

Could you please try this beta version and tell me if that fixed your problem? Thanks.

Re: IPV6 Error with 3.4.0 & 3.4.1
Thanks. I tried the Beta. The IPV6 switching, which was the real problem with no workaround, now works as in the past in the 3.4.1.5 Beta
On the other hand, I don't recall the ":" ever working in previous versions. In the past I would set the IPV6 address manually then use the "copy from current settings" button to get it in. Perfectly fine workaround, but I would still like the ability to enter an address manually. In the latest beta, this still does not work. I think I just noticed it again while playing with IPV6 issues.
BTW, How do I upgrade the Beta or the 3.3 version to Pro (I'm a registered pro user) as I can't access many of my profiles on what appears to be standard versions in the links above?

Re: IPV6 Error with 3.4.0 & 3.4.1
The new version will be released this week. Then you can use the IPv6 feature officially again.
Concerning the ":": To be honest, I think there is some kind of misunderstanding in the usage of the feature. I don't see how the colon can make any problems in the entry fields. Would you mind showing me some screenshots or even better a screen recording (egain Wink is a free tol to do that). I think only this way I'll be able to see and understand the problem of the usage. Thanks.
How to upgrade to Pro: Simply follow the instruction in your license email. After you downloaded the Pro version from your account you can run the setup and choose to update the currently installed version. Then you'll be working with the Pro version.

Re: IPV6 Error with 3.4.0 & 3.4.1
I have got rid of the problem by resetting IPv6 and Winsock.
