How to manage the security settings?!

Hi,

NetSetMan seems to be interesting. However, I wonder if/how I can manage the security settings of the various locations (WPA, none, etc.).

Re: How to manage the security settings?!

I'm afraid, WiFi-specific settings are not implemented, yet.
However this might come in a later version.
For now only general network settings can be managed.

Re: How to manage the security settings?!

I recently installed NetSetMan and was wondering why it did not ask me for the normal security information needed to connect to a wireless network. After searching  this board I found this post which seems to answer my question.

My purpose in searching out NetSetMan  was for a better solution to Vista Networking wireless connection. But it seem that I still have to use Vista wireless connections. So which software is controlling my network  connection? Any clarification on this would be appreciated.

Re: How to manage the security settings?!

I'm a bit curious how you selected NetSetMan because of it's wireless features if there aren't any. WiFi is (atm) not part of the official feature list.

However, internally the WiFi management is almost completely done. It will be more than only switching between profiles. Unfortunately you'll need to wait a bit longer for them because they will be part of a bigger update that still needs some work.

Stay tuned...
