Setting profile depending on available network path

Hi,

I just purchased and installed NetSetMan Pro. Many thanks for it! Once ago, I implemented a similar, but much more simple application, which only sets the proxy, maps network drives and executes scripts. Your solution is much better than mine, so I take yours now ;-) But perhaps it would be possible to build in one feature which I implemented in my own solution: A profile can be set automatically if it is binded to the condition of an available network path. For example in my office, the network path \\tristan\dev exists. So when starting NetSetMan in the office, it could automatically select the appropriate profile. In other words, the profile "OFFICE" could have the condition "\\tristan\dev exists". When starting NetSetMan, it will check all profiles in their specified order and will take the first one where the condition is fulfilled. Other conditions may be for example available servers (in this example "tristan").

Auto-activation of profiles is in development and will be available late summer. Network recognition will be part of it. I plan to do it a bit different than you described but it will have the same effect.
Nevertheless, thank you for describing your suggestion in detail. I will give a thought about the additional possibility with the network path.

Hello... is Auto-activation of profiles now available? If so, how do I set that up? thank you.

New features are coming step by step.
Automatic profile activation is on the ToDo list with a high priority so it will come in one of the next version.
By including WiFi functionality the required preparatory work for this feature has been done. So now it's only a matter of time.
