WLAN

I'd like to see in further version of 'netsetman', some tool which would automatically switch my WLAN network to another, configured first in the set up menu of this application.
Looking forward for any new feature:)

Re: WLAN

This is planned and on my ToDo list. But it's not that easy to make and usually there's a management software included with every wlan  software/driver and also with Windows XP SP2.

Re: WLAN

As the mentioned WLAN management tools automatically connect to the closest Access Point (and for most users there's normally only one AP close to you, which you might use), the other way around would be great:
To switch the profiles depending on to which WLAN (depending on SSID) you are connected.

As this information should be available within windows independent of the management software, this feature should be easier to be realized wink

Re: WLAN

Both features need similar code basics. Therefore they will likely be implemented at the same time. This will definitelly be this year and probably this summer, but I can't guarantee that by now.

Re: WLAN

Advanced WLAN/WiFi functionality is already done.
Automatical profile activation is currently in development.
A big update will come in January introducing several new features.
