Printer: Error 1801
I am using NetSetMan 2.5.1. Whenever I try to change the default printer, I get the message: Error 1801: The printer name is invalid (in German: Der Druckername ist unzulässig).
Anyhow, setting the default printer by hand is possible.
Regards,
Andrej

Re: Printer: Error 1801
The name in the Control Center / Printer section is e.g. "HP LaserJet 2100 PCL6 (Room 1.21)" or "HP LaserJet 1100 (MS) (USB - Right)". The USB attached printers are grayed out while unavailable, the other ones are attached via TCP/IP.
Anyhow, none of the printers can be set as default printer.
Regards!

Re: Printer: Error 1801
I did a few tests right now and it seems that the printer feature is incompatible with the NSM Service in Vista, which I wasn't aware of.
So I guess, you're using this Service? With Vista?
I'll have a look at how to fix this...

Re: Printer: Error 1801
True, I use Windows Vista together with the NSM Service 1.0.
Thanks for helping!
