Desktop Shortcut
Is it possible to generate a desktop shortcut that will launch a specific profile?
I would like to move the action of changing profiles from right click on the NSM icon in taskbar, to a more convenient place in a dock system like RocketDock, which floats in a toolbar on my screen.
Shortcuts would allow me to do this.

Yes it is possible. Please have a look at the help file and scroll down to the part "Command Line Activation".
In a nutshell:
A shortcut for activating profile # 0 in silent mode could look like this:
C:\NetSetMan\netsetman.exe -as 0
