Get all network settings does not always work
I tried using the Netsetman Pro and tried right clicking the netsetman and selecting "Get all network settings" but it would not populate the IP fields is this a bug or am I doing something wrong. I am using windows XP SP2. The IP field will not populate with any settings at all - Why.

Re: Get all network settings does not always work
I will also require to get these settings once activated. V2.4.0 had these and this was nice. Why not the new version?

Re: Get all network settings does not always work
If the IP is set by DHCP then only the status will change to "Automatic". The IP fields will remail empty.
In 2.4.0 there was a special button to get IP, Subnetmask and Gateway at the same time. This was only a temporary solution. Now you have a [<-] icon besides all fields that will get the settings only for the field besides it. This way you have more control of what you want to fill. Additionally you can use "Get all network settings" which will activate all [<-] buttons and fill their values.
With the next version NSM will also get the current IP settings if they're set with DHCP. Some new features to get and show current values are in developement now and they work quite well. So stay tuned for 2.4.2!
