Re: What causes Access to Windows WiFi API to be restricted

According to the Creators with v5.4.0 and Windows 11 24H2 WiFi Compatibilty.

It is a security issue secured by location privacy settings. To solve the problem .......

A new information dialog now allows you to adjust the required settings with a single click

WHERE is it? I cannot find it anyone help me please

There is a topic about this here:
https://www.netsetman.com/support/viewtopic.php?id=1414

By clicking the large Wi-Fi button in the left menu (blue, vertical) you will get to the Wi-Fi Management section. It will check if the required permissions are available. If not, you will see this dialog and will be able to fix this with one click:

Alternatively, you can do this manually in Windows by enabling location access to desktop apps:
Windows > Settings > Privacy & security > Location
