Wi-Fi API Access in Windows 11 24H2
My autoswitch doesn't work. I can manually switch from profiles, but netsetmanpro doesn't see the wifi anymore?
I get this error:
[11:41:37.190] WlanQueryInterface 1: ERROR 5

Re: Wi-Fi API Access in Windows 11 24H2
With Windows 11 24H2 Microsoft added a new restriction that hides access to the WiFi API behind location privacy settings. If you have disabled location access for desktop apps, you will need to manually enable it:
Windows > Settings > Privacy & security > Location
If you never changed that setting, Windows asks you the first time a desktop app tries to access the WiFi API.
We have already integrated a check and a info message with a possibility to enable this with a click for the next release. Right now you need to do this manually.
We are sorry for these circumstances, but this new restriction is out of our hands.

We have changed the topic subject from "Autoswitch doesn't work" to "Wi-Fi API Access in Windows 11 24H2", so other users will find this information as well.
