Issue starting NetSetMan 5.3.0 without administrator privileges

Hi, today i updated v.5.2.0 to 5.3.0, but i can only start NetSetMan with administrator privileges.
With an account with Power Users and Users privileges i got Error 6 (see upload).
Windows 11 Pro 23H2 x64

We are unable to reproduce this on any of our systems and most of the users don't seem to have this issue. However, we have now received a total of 3 bug reports of this kind, so we are now trying to figure out the reason for this issue.

Please do the following:

Re-download the latest setup file and install it again as an update, as we have added an additional debug option to it (without changing anything else, so the version remains the same).
After installing it, do not run the application (uncheck the option on the last setup page).
Create an empty file with the name "debug" (no file extension) on your desktop and then copy it to the existing program folder (C:\Program files (x86)\NetSetMan).
Now run the application.
If the error pops up, close it. Then navigate to the Logs folder in the program folder.
Copy and send us the nsmlog and the nsmservicelog files by email (see contact page) and include a link to this topic for reference.

I'm sorry, i re-downloaded the setup file, but there's no log in the program folder, after running it (see attached image).

EDIT: i ran netsetman with administrator privileges first, so the logs folder was created. Then i ran it with lower privileges, and i got the logs, so i'm going to send it by email.

Running into the same issue: Same error message on the same OS version.

Any way to downgrade to the previous version v.5.2.0, which was working fine?

We are working on it. There is an unexpected incompatibility with new library files. We have already prepared an updated version of the NetSetMan Service with old library files. We plan to release a new version later today to urgently fix this.

Another unrelated issue prevents updating through the program menu. Installing a new version is currently only possible by manually downloading the setup file. We are working with our server provide to fix this issue on the server.

Unfortunalely with Version 5.3.2 the issue that NetSetMan does not start without administrative
priviledges is back. Same situation as with version 5.3.0.
