Clear IP adress
Hello all,
I use NSM at home for my laptop and here is a feature that either I did not find or does not exist.
I can swap between wifi and RJ45 connections with aut profile change based on conditions all right.
However I would like to keep the same IP (192.168.0.10 for example) on the PC whether it's connected on Wifi or cable.
I use some port forwarding software for remote access and it's more convenient like that.
Of course if I try to set both profiles with the same manual IP I get an error from windows that tells me that the address is already in use and so on....
So what I'd like is that when NSM changes profile it would also remove the "old" IP from the DHCP windows server so that it can assign the "new" IP (same as the old one) to the computer when the new profile gets activated.
Is that possible ?
Thanks a lot for the help

Re: Clear IP adress
Click the IP+ button and in the Expert Settings section check "IpConfig" and check "/release" in the list.
That's basically just a quick way to use the command line "ipconfig /release) which is meant to tell the DHCP server to release the currently assigned IP address. Not sure though if it's going to take effect immediately.
