VLAN ID (incompatible)
Hello,
Trying to add a VLAN ID to a profile with my Ethernet USB dongle that has VLAN capabilities but the option is grayed out and saying incompatible. Does it just not like my style of dongle and is there a list of compatible devices?
ASIX AX88179 USB 3.0 my dongle model.
I'm using version 5.0.6 of NetSetMan
Windows 10 - Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042
Dell Latitude 5480

Re: VLAN ID (incompatible)
Update,
Apparently in the drop down menu of the device selection for the IP profile. My USB dongle doesn't show up. I can see it under the network tools though.

Re: VLAN ID (incompatible)
Update:
I had to make sure all copies of Netsetman wasn't running in the background and restart the program. I can now change vlans.

Re: VLAN ID (incompatible)
All available network adapters are read during program start and are later not constantly monitored. You can manually update this list by right-clicking the adapters dropdown list and selecting "Refresh". Alternatively, you can restart the program, as you already did.
