Why don't appear "hp LaserJet 1010 HB-USB en HUI-CYCL0PE" printer(See printers and scaners Windows info) in the Additional -> Printer dropdown menu?.
How can I add it?

Re: Problem to insert printer in Additional -> Printer
Based on your account, you have been using NetSetMan for a while already. Is this problem new in version 5.x, meaning did you see that printer in version 4.x before updating it?

Re: Problem to insert printer in Additional -> Printer
No, I have never been able to include that printer.
This is a printer connected, via USB, to another computer on the network, with windows 7, and that I only use to share the printer and I turn it on when I go to print.
That other computer is not always on, for that reason if I ever tried it, and the printer did not appear in the list, I attributed it to not being turned on.
This was the first time I have checked the dropdown list with the list of printers reporting by "printers and scanners".
This time the computer and printer were on.

Re: Problem to insert printer in Additional -> Printer
We have spend a couple of hours now trying to reproduce this issue, but have not been able to find a constellation where this problem occurs. None of our assumptions turned out to be true.
There are two possible approaches to solve this problem:
1. Try to add the printer name to the settings file manually and see if it can be activated with the profile.
-> Select some placeholder printer, close NetSetMan completely through the tray icon, open Notepad with Administrator privileges (click Start, type "notepad", right-click it and run as administrator), navigate to the installation folder of NetSetMan and open the file "netsetman.xml". Find the placeholder value you have selected in the beginning and rename that value to the printer name *exactly* as it shows up in your printer list in Windows. Save the changes. Run NetSetMan and activate that profile to see if it works.
2. A better solution might be to try re-adding the printer to your system. Maybe it is then updated in a way NetSetMan can find and use it.
-> Uninstall the printer, reboot, install/connect the network printer again. Now see if it made a difference in NetSetMan.

Re: Problem to insert printer in Additional -> Printer
In view of your answer, in case it helps to explain what happens with this printer, since you indicate that you cannot reproduce the problem, I will tell you that you have something "special", perhaps it could be related to the problem
This is a laserjet 1010 printer connected, via USB, to a PC running Windows XP, which shares the printer on the network. This printer was no longer supported by HP in the Windows 7 version, but by installing in Windows 7 and Windows 10 (which is the one I'm using on the PC with Netsetman) the drivers for this printer for Windows Vista I can print on it without problems both from my PC (Windows 10) and from my wife's (Windows 8).
As you can see, the installation of this printer was very delicate, so I don't dare to uninstall it and try again lest I be left without being able to reinstall it.
I will follow your first approach.
After trying:
I followed your instructions.
Printer "hp LaserJet 1010 HB-USB on HUI-CYCL0PE" appeared in the additional printer field.
When I pressed "Activate" I got error 1801 with the printer.
When I re-selected the dropdown menu, the printer appeared as "\\HUI-CYCL0PE\hp LaserJet 1010 HB-USB"
I selected it with this new name and, activated again, then the activation process was correct.
The new name also appeared changed in the netsetman.xml file
Thank you very much.

Re: Problem to insert printer in Additional -> Printer
Those are very interesting details. Thank you very much for explaining everything in detail.
However, in our understanding, it should be irrelevant how the printer is connected on the other end. If it is available in the network and you are able to connect it in Windows 7/10, you have a "normal" network printer. We don't know how it was installed, though. Maybe there is some kind of option or constellation (with different user accounts) that might lead to this problem.
Now, this leaves us really baffled. Using the caption name "hp LaserJet 1010 HB-USB en HUI-CYCL0PE" (which was incorrectly instructed by us) instead of the actual network path name failed understandably. But we have absolutely no clue how this could have triggered the correct network path name to appear in the list. By opening the printers list, NetSetMan dynamically retrieves all printers from Windows. How this failed attempt cause Windows to provide the missing printer?
Is it possible that this was just some kind of coincidence and the actual reason is something like the printer not being turned on during your first attempts so Windows didn't include it as available?

Re: Problem to insert printer in Additional -> Printer
In all the cases and captures that I have sent to you, the printer was turned off, but it was shown in "printers and scanners", as you can see in the captures that I have sent you. I was especially careful to make it appear so that you could check the list of printers that "printers and scanners" returned.
But I am sure that I did, before contacting you, tests with the printer turned on, without success.
Finally, in case it could influence, I have done these last tests with version 5.0.3 that I downloaded and updated, today, before doing the test. Could this be the reason that I now successfully retrieve the list of printers? To be absolutely precise, I had one of the Windows 10 automatic updates installed tonight.

Re: Problem to insert printer in Additional -> Printer
The printer feature has not been changed for a long time, so the new version has definitely nothing to do with it.
