Removal of existing license / installation of new license
Hi,
Recently renewed a number of existing, but expired licenses and wanted to install the new license file that I received.
I understand that my old licenses will still work, but still renewed in order to ensure that we can receive and download updates when available.
However, (and maybe i'm missing it?), but i cannot find a way to remove the existing license and install the new one.
My instinct says to delete the "lic.dat" file in the main program folder, then launch NetSetMan and hope it asks for a license. Maybe?
Regardless, i figured I should check here first.
Thanks.

Yes, to replace a license, you can do exactly this (exit, delete lic.dat, run, register).
Your system will then be re-registered with your new license.
Thanks!

Re: Removal of existing license / installation of new license
Thank you for the answer here.
I renamed "lic.dat" to "lic.dat.xxx", but when I re-launch NetSetMan, i cannot find in any drop-down menu a "register" or "install license" option.
In addition, on the "Help", "About" screen, I still see the old license.
What am I missing?
Thanks.

Re: Removal of existing license / installation of new license
Did you really exit the application instead of closing it to the tray?
Right-click on the tray icon and choose "Exit", then try again.

Re: Removal of existing license / installation of new license
Apologies!
Yes. I was not actually exiting. Forgot that I need to "Quit" via the tray icon.
That worked.
Thanks again.
