Wrong adapter (Error 14) switching profiles (Need to switch twice)
Hi,
great software, really clean, thanks!
My problem,
When i switch profiles i (always) get:
Selected adapter is not wifi compatible
Wrong adapter (Error 14)
Then i select the same profile again and all is fine.
So i have to select a profile twice to get it activated.
I use the tray list.
Win7x64
Netgear A6200 USB Wifi adapter (Latest standalone driver)
This is the Only adapter used in NSM
In windows there is secondary a Internal "Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller LAN adaper set to "Switched off"
All Ip's are set static. All is WIFI.
Connections point to Huwai R218h MIFI router (SET1)
and Netgear R 6300 Router (SET 2) (SET3)
Tryed extra setting "Disconnect all connections" No avail.
Thanks for your time, have a great day!

Re: Wrong adapter (Error 14) switching profiles (Need to switch twice)
Not to bump, but to ask in the above post context:
I would like to try a delay on the switch, though can't find a option to..
delay an adapter when switching, is there an option for that somewhere?
Should - can - i use a script, and does anyone have an example for such a script?
(sometimes i see "Waiting 5 sec" when activating a profile.) then the switch works alright, meaning in one go)
I have tryed all initialization options like restart adapter but that doesn't cure it, perhaps a delay will do it.
Next im gonna try to use another adapter but this one is fine/better in performance then the other ones i have.
Thanks for your time, have a great day!

Re: Wrong adapter (Error 14) switching profiles (Need to switch twice)
That is a strange behavior. Even if a wireless network adapter isn't fully ready after changing the IP address, it should still be recognized as wifi compatible.
You could try this workaround:
Create two subprofiles for the same adapter in your profile. The first changes your IP settings. The second connects you to the wireless network. Additionally in the second subprofile, you add a dummy script file (an empty *.bat file will do) in the Before tab and set a delay value.

Re: Wrong adapter (Error 14) switching profiles (Need to switch twice)
Hi,
Yes, that does work, though beeing kinda slow, about 15-25 sec.
Then again switching twice is also slow, and way more annoying.
(No script added, it worked successfully without)
Thanks for your reply/ workaround!
Have a good day!
