NSM hangs when activating printer

I have tested NSM 2.3.1 (Freeware). NSM hangs when activating the default printer. Has anyone else seen this problem?

I am having the same problem.  If its helpful, there are two IP address bound to each of my Netowork Cards, and I have a Network Card and a Wireless Card.

It's hard to tell where the problem is. I already discussed this with a German user once. The problem diappeared after a while without any certain reason. Unfortunatelly I have no idea which other program or Windows setting could block it or cause the effect.

You could try the first FAQ topic (www.netsetman.com/faq) which might help in that case, too.

Here's a report from a user that had the same problem:

I found a virus TROJ_HIDER.I in a file located in c:\windows\system32.
I don't know what was the virus effect but now I deleted it, NetSetMan works properly again.

A virus can block or change different interfaces. Make sure your system is clean.
