As informative as the Connection/Adapter details are im really missing the connection speed.
Especially for WLAN connections.

Re: Display Connection speed in info tab - especially for WLAN connections
The TrayInfo displays the signal strength of an established WiFi connection with the green bars of the WiFi icon.
Do you mean if it's a 802.11b/g/n/... network?
In what situation would that be helpful? The theoretical top speed doesn't say anything about the real connection speed. And to display the real connection speed, we'd need to constantly send data somewhere and meassure that. This seems a little bit unreasonable.
If you mean some other kind of connection speed, please clarify. If the desired information is displayed somewhere in Windows, please include a screenshot. Thank you.

Re: Display Connection speed in info tab - especially for WLAN connections
Hello
I mean the connection speed like 150mbit or the like for the WLAN connection speed as this varies often and sometime it helped me to see if there is an issue (constantly changing the connection speed and no transfer is happening)
Additional for LAN connections it helps to instantly see if the connection is full speed or maybe a slower one 100/10 mbit).
Had this feature in the previous used Lenovo access connection and i miss it
Thanks

Re: Display Connection speed in info tab - especially for WLAN connections
This information usually varies all the time, so we didn't consider it to be valuable for the user.
However, we'll consider adding it optionally together with the link speed for wired connections. Thank you for your suggestion.

We've added this feature with the new Tray-Info options in version 4.3.1:

Re: Display Connection speed in info tab - especially for WLAN connections
Cool
Thanks.
I noticed that sometimes the shown speed is weird. especially on the not connected ones.
I'm connected to the WLAN and my connection speed varies from ~130mbit to 300mbit

Re: Display Connection speed in info tab - especially for WLAN connections
We're using the connection speed provided directly from a Windows API, so the returned values are what Windows or the drivers think is correct. We thought about what to do with disconnected adapters. In all our tests the disconnected adapters returned their default speed (for a Gigabit network it was 1 GBit/s for example). In your case this is strangly different. If we cannot assume the default speed then we should probably better hide that information for disconnected adapters.
The variation in speed for wireless adapters is normal, because the wireless card continuously adjusts the connection speed based on signal strength, power saving options and data transmission.
However, we're wondering why it's "0 GBit/s" in your screenshot!?
