AutoSwitch per user

After version 4.20, this program is almost perfect!!!
But I have a little request to the program.

On my PC there are 3 users.
What I am missing is in the AutoSwitch, is an option to make a profile user dependent.

How?
Make it possible to add a Windows username/logon name to the AutoSwitch, so a profile only will be activated when certain users are logged on to Windows.
Just like it's possible to add a gateway, SSID, network adapter or something else.

To make it even more user friendly, let NSM read the users from Windows and then I could set a check mark for each user the profile should be active for. Or it should be possible to type in the usernames, maybe separated by a comma if the profile is for more the one user.

Thank you for your suggestion.
There are many more conditions that could be added to the AutoSwitch dialog. We'll evaluate all possibilities and suggestions add them step by step. We'll add your suggested "current user"-condition to our list of possible improvements for the future, but it'll probably take a while until we get to it, as there are many other feature requests in the pipeline.
For the moment, you could work around this problem by creating multiple installation folders, each for a different user. That way you'd strictly separate the settings of each user, not only the AutoSwitch conditions. This might be even more useful to you, because this way one user won't make changes to a profile a second user doesn't know about or doesn't want to have.

Thanks for your answer.

But how do I do the installation by creating multiple installation folders, each for a different user?
I can't find anything about it in the help-file.

NetSetMan stores its settings directly in its program folder. This means that this folder contains everything an instance of NetSetMan requires to be functioning autonomously. This also allows a portable use.
We don't have an option for multi-user installations, but you can do this manually:
Install it once in a main/default folder (for user 1 or the administrator).
Then duplicate that program folder (e.g. "C:\Program files (x86)\NetSetMan User2\").
Manually create a program shortcut for user 2 on the corresponding desktop.
If you wish NetSetMan to be started automatically with Windows, make sure the autorun feature in the program preferences is set to user specific or manually create autorun entries for all users individually.
Do the same for all additional users.
All folders are now working independantly.
When you install an update, simply copy all program files (except settings.ini) from the main folder to the other folders.

Your suggestion to make multiple installations might work, but seems like a bad solution.
-    Installations have to be made several times/places.
-    Configuration saved one place, copied to several other

Can you please give a hint of if my suggestion will be implemented?

Your suggestion is included in our backlog. However, all new ideas have to queue in with all the existing ideas. Although we understand that you want to have this new feature a soon as possible, please consider that there are many other features waiting to be implemented as well. Some of them have been on hold for quite a long time, because good ideas need to unfold and grow over time. Rushing in new features won't do any good.
So, although it's possible that we implement your idea at some point, we cannot guarantee it nor can we give a time estimate for it. Until then the "bad solution" is the only workaround we can offer, we're afraid.
