Show IP info on desktop background

Maybe you know SysInternals' BgInfo.exe but it's static.
I'd like NetSetMan to show IP address info on desktop background (preferably right corner of screen) and refresh the info each time the IP address changes.
I am network technician and I frequently change IP addresses during my work.

For illustration google "bginfo" and see results in Images tab.

Having given it some thought I actually like that idea.
Although all that information is already included in the TrayInfo by hovering the NSM icon in the tray, including the information in the background image has its points.

I'll put this on our to-do list, but it'll definitely take some time (not before 2015).

Last year we did some planning and experiments for this. It turned out to be far more complex than we initially imagined. To give you just an idea:
- recognize the image positioning style (stretch, scale, repeat, etc.) and apply the text accordingly on that image
- recognize colors and contrast of the image to choose an appropriate font or additional background
- provide a UI for customizing the displayed information
- preferably provide a complete UI for custom user font style configurations
- find a solution that does not interfere with the Wallpaper feature in the System Settings dialog
- etc.

We still haven't abandoned this idea, but we decided to move this aside in favor of other features with greater demand. For our software we like to do things right. In this case, a good solution will simply consume too much time blocking the development of other features. Taking into account that it has only been requested by one user so far and that the functionality of this feature is only nice-to-have, we decided to put this task aside for the moment. In case a component pops up that allows a much quicker implementation or the demand rises, we will reconsider it again. Thank you for your understanding.

I see, it was a good idea to have the ip in a prominent place like that. Fingers crossed for the future.

IMHO use BGInfo sysinternals and you have what you need and much more on your desktop. Run it after Profile activate.
ie:
D:\NETWORK\SYSINTERNALS\Bginfo.exe D:\NETWORK\SYSINTERNALS\ast440.bgi /timer:0
you can also create for each profile a different bgi file with different backgrounbd etc
