Re: Problem when update profile

When creating a new topic there's a box at the top requesting this information:

Please read before posting!
When submitting a technical support request please always make sure to include the following information:
    Windows version (incl. x86/x64)
    NetSetMan version
Is the NSM Service activated? (Preferences > System Privileges)
Step by step description to reproduce the problem.
Screenshots! In most cases a visualization of the problem can make a huge difference.
Use the "Uploads" link below to upload your images and click the icon to include in full size or thumbnail.

Please don't ignore it. Without that information it's only wild guessing.

You're writing that the IP address is not updated after having activated the profile. How exactly did you test/verify that? Windows network preferences? NetSetMan TrayInfo? Ipconfig?
I'm asking this, because there's the possibility that the IP was changed correctly but testing or looking up the result wasn't. Please provide further details.

Re: Problem when update profile

  1. Make sure the Windows network preferences dialog is not visible when activating the profile.

  2. Make sure you verify the settings for the correct adapter. Some systems have multiple LAN adapters listed in the network preferences; some of them are only virtual adapters, but might have a similar name.

  3. Open the command prompt (cmd) and enter "ipconfig". Look at all adapters for the new settings. Can you please copy the full output and send it to me?

  4. Please send me a screenshot of the network preferences dialog after activating the profile.

Thank you.

Re: Problem when update profile

Your screenshot of your profile shows that you have unchecked all settings:
2015-04-17_Checkboxes.png
In this constellation nothing is going to be changed at all.
Please make sure to read at least the basic information in the help file:
http://www.netsetman.com/index.php?s=he … f_howtouse

However your screenshot doesn't match the log output from your initial posting. That's confusing.
Please redo all your testing thoroughly again and create screenshots during the process for a better documentation. To make the documentation easier you can either use the "Snipping Tool" which is included in Windows 7 or use the freeware tool Wink to record your screen during your testing.

Re: Problem when update profile

I apologize , I thought that it was enough just to load the settings that still appeared on the screen . Sorry to have kept you lose time for such a thing. Thanks for all
