EnumerateAvailableNetworks: Error 7000000F
In version 4.01 I am getting a WiFi "Adapter not found" error with the following log entries:
[0:01] EnumerateAvailableNetworks: Error 7000000F
The network adapter did not respond. Please make sure it's turned on and working correctly.

[0:01] WiFi: Error 7000000F
The network adapter did not respond. Please make sure it's turned on and working correctly.

Did not have this problem before update to 4.0/4.01 from 3.7.3
Using Intel Wireless Dual Band AC 7260 and also connected via Ethernet LAN via Intel Ethernet Connection I217-LM Wired LAN Connects but Wifi shows Adapter not found even though it is actually working well
Thanks

Re: EnumerateAvailableNetworks: Error 7000000F
It's possible that the WiFi interface temporarily wasn't available for some reason (driver or system problem). Could you please reboot and try that again?

Re: EnumerateAvailableNetworks: Error 7000000F
Hello Ilja
Thank you for your response
This problem has been happening every day, after a fresh re-start, since I upgraded on March 16th. I use your program to switch my connections settings between the main office domain (use a dock with a wired Ethernet connection but I have wireless available) and my home network which is mostly wireless. I take my notebook home every day so I am constantly shutting down and starting up and when I do I am switching back and forth between the two profiles.
I did not encounter this error with the previous version and the wireless device seems to be connecting and working properly using the native Windows 8.1 interface even with the error in NetSetMan.
Thank You for your help!

Ilja
I am still looking for an answer regarding this issue. The update from Version 4.01 to 4.02 did not make any difference. The adapter seems to be fully functional but there is an error posted when Netsetman switches or boots to my main business profile.
Thanks in advance

Re: EnumerateAvailableNetworks: Error 7000000F
I'm afraid, I don't have an answer for this at the moment.
I've reviewed the code changes from 3.7.3 to 4.0.0, but basically nothing changed regarding the WiFi connection routine. So it's difficult to follow your observation that it worked in 3.x and stopped working in 4.x. Also we can't reproduce this problem on our test systems and we haven't heard from any other user about this problem. I was hoping you'd find out what changed on your system in the meantime.
Well, let's do some basic tests to begin with:
What's your Windows version (incl. x86/x64)? NetSetMan Pro or NC-Freeware?
Post the full activation log (or send it to me by email if you feel it includes private information). In particular I'd like to see what happens in the steps before that problem occurs.
Do you experience similar problems using the NSM WiFi Management as well? (Linked in the Tools main menu)
In many cases it really helps a lot to see the problem in action, because sometimes there are some important details that the user doesn't include in the error description that are however crucial in finding the cause of the problem. A freeware tool for screen recording is Wink. It would help if you could create a video from the whole activation process and the NSM WiFi Management tests. Please keep the Windows Network Connections dialog in sight all the time, so it's possible to see whether the status of the WiFi adapter changes during the tests.
Re-install the previous 3.7.3 version and verify that the problem still doesn't occur there. Remember to backup yout settings.ini file before doing that, so you can easily revert to the latest version after that test.
