Error changing MAC address on profile activation

Windows 8.1 x64
NSM v4
Service activated
Try and change the MAC address to 002564891C6D to replicate the problem

I was having trouble changing the MAC address to 002564891C6D after updating to v4. It was working fine on version 3.7.3 and I can still do it manually so clearly this is a bug with NSM.

Re: Error changing MAC address on profile activation

So what's the error text/code or result you're getting?

Re: Error changing MAC address on profile activation

Oh sorry!

No error code. "MAC invalid!" in a small window

The web page isn't letting me upload an image so here's the link for it

Re: Error changing MAC address on profile activation

Oh, I see. That's probably the same reason as some people currently experiencing connecting to wireless networks that contain a 00 in the MAC address. The cause for this (wrong validation test for the MAC address) has already been fixed and will be available in the next release. This should solve that problem here as well. Sorry for that.

Re: Error changing MAC address on profile activation

Oh and thank you for the note about the image upload problem here. After switching to another server last week the folder access restrictions for the upload folder haven't been adjusted. Fixed that right now.
