Re: Error Updating adapter
1. Please update to the latest version 3.7.2, restart your computer and see if the problem still occurs. (If you have activated the NSM Service the new version might actually make a difference here.)
2. To my knowledge this error can occur if the network adapter isn't propperly installed. You might want to download the latest driver for your network adapter and install it. If you have already installed the latest driver, please try re-installing it.
3. For the next NetSetMan version I've prepared a fall-back solution to update the adapter in case it fails like in this case. If neither 1. nor 2. work, I can provide you with a beta version to see if the new method solves the problem for you.

Re: Error Updating adapter
Please let me know whether 1. or 2. worked and if you'd like to test the beta version with the new method for updating the network adapter.

Re: Error Updating adapter
I solved the problem before your reply. The problem occured on workmate computer. The solution was very simple he wasn't updated his network adapters on NetSetMan. After update NetSetMan works correctly again.
If you want I can test a beta version on my personal computer. I can't do it on my workmate computer but if I find any bug or problem I will notify you.
Thank you so much for answer.

Re: Error Updating adapter
I'm not sure what you mean by "he wasn't updated his network adapters on NetSetMan". What exactly did you do to update it?

Re: Error Updating adapter
I pressed the button that I underline on the screenshot. After, I selected again the network adapter and I rewrote wished configuration. The final solution was strange beacause before press the button I had checked that the network adapter drivers was updated.
I don't know if the program has to update adapters automatically but I had to update manually pressing the button. I remember that I had to solve the problem on workmate computer so I don't know if he did any other actions to try to solve the error.

Re: Error Updating adapter
Sorry to bother you with another question, but for my better understanding:
1. Have you used the software without that problem already before the problem?
2. Did some hardware or drivers change on your system, especially related to your network adapter? Or did you install some other network related software (including firewall)?
As a brief explaination why this is important: NetSetMan identifies the network adapters by their unique ID. This ID usually never changes. If after a click on that "Refresh" button you had to reselect the network adapter in the list it means that the previously chosen ID wasn't available anymore as an active network adapter. But if at the same time before pressing the button the list already showed the name in the list it means that in the registry there's possibly a remaining entry with the old ID and the name.
Or you have two network adapters with the same name installed.

Re: Error Updating adapter
I was speaking with my friend (beacause is his computer) and he said me that when he formated the PC to restore he used the image of another PC (same model) beacause he didn't want to reinstall again programs. So probably on the image NetSetMan has same configuration with same adapter names but with differents adapters ID.
