Re: Printers on Windows 8
Are you using the latest version 3.5.2?
Is the printer a network or a local printer?
Could you please try swithing to another printer (or some of the virtual printers (like Fax, XPS document writer, etc.) - does switching any of them worl?
Could you please take a screenshot of your printer dialog in Windows and send it to me together with your settings.ini file for verification?

Re: Printers on Windows 8
I usually switch between various network printers or PDFCreator... But within last hour something must be changed because it started working correctly...
Maybe some vmware Fusion's settings (i updated it a coule of days ago) changed... i dunno
If you want i can send you anyway the printer dialog and the settings.ini

Re: Printers on Windows 8
Please send me the printer name and its driver version.
I'm actually extremely curious to know what changed on your system that resolved the problem.
If you have any clues, and may they be small, please tell me.
Since I don't have a starting point, I can only make some wild guesses/suggestions:
windows update, driver update, reboot, printer usb port changed, some other hardware added or removed, printer on/off, ...
