Problem with WiFi connection

I use the latest version of NetSetMan with WinXP 32 bit.
I have sevaral WiFi profiles defined all of them set to "Autoconnect".
When I activate a profile with Wifi checked but without a specific SSID defined and adapter status "activate" I expect to be connected to the first SSID. But first a connection is established and later when adapter is activated WiFi profile settings is changed to "manual" and connection is dropped!!
Do you have an advise?

Why would you expect that?
By choosing "activate" the adapter is activated in case it has been deactivated.
By choosing the empty slot in the drop down box for the WiFi networks you're disconnected from your wireless network. This is also described in the help file.
If you don't want to be disconnected or connected to a certain profile then simply don't check the WiFi checkbox in your profile. If you've set-up some WiFi profiles with "Connect when available" Windows will connect them automatically for you as soon as they're available.

Re: Problem with WiFi connection

Hi thank you for your immediate answer. My problem is solved!!
I have to apologise I did not read that part of help. I understand also that activating a profile with empty slot, the attribute "Connect when available" is unchecked from the connected network by the NSM  and probably this is the reason that connection is interupted. In such case probably you need to check again the attribute and finnaly that is the reason I start this conversation.
