Login screen behaviour
I like the idea of the new login screen feature, I do however have some comments on how it behaves.
1) It steals focus from the password field, which needs to be clicked before I can start typing. This is a little annoying, but the real problem is that the field looks like it has the focus (blinking cursor) fooling me into thinking I can just start typing. Is there any way around this? Preferably letting the field have focus like it normally has.
2) If I hit Alt-Tab (to switch focus to the right form so I can enter my password) theres multiple NSMLoginForm icons in the popup window. I currently have 9 of them, I think perhaps locking the screen adds a new form up to the max of 9, but I haven't verified this.
3) If I activate a profile that tries to enable certain features (Printer, System(Power plan), Net Drives, Hosts, a simple script file and disabling a WiFi adapter) the status popup goes to about 50% and then just hangs there. I have to hit cancel in order to make it disappear. The log says net drives can't be set since I'm not logged in (understandably).
I'm guessing that some of this is beyond your control, but I really hope focus on the password box and profiles not finishing can be fixed.

Re: Login screen behaviour
Thank you for your detailed thoughts and suggestions.
1) You're right, the NSM icon shouldn't take away the focus. I'll need to analyze if it's possible to have a solution for that.
2) That actually shouldn't happen. When leaving the logon screen the old instance should be ended. I'll see if I can find out why this isn't happening in your case. What Windows version are you using? 32 or 64 Bit?
3) Sounds like a bug as well. I'll have a look at this as well.
Thanks again.

Re: Login screen behaviour
I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I tend to use hibernate a lot, rebooting about once a week and locking my computer (Win+L) a couple of times a day.

Re: Login screen behaviour
The described problems should be solved with the today released version 3.5.1.
Please let me know about your experiences with it.
