Disable folder sharing when in public WLAN
Assume I go to a public Internet cafe or other public site.
Here I can switch to the new (W)LAN settings by using NetSetMan. Fine.
However there is now a security issue: My shared folders are visible to other users in WLAN.
Is there a way to let NetSetMan hide/disable (temporarily) these shared folders resp. their visibility?
This could be achieved by (temporarily) stop the Microsoft client and printer service.
If this is not possible: Could you add this feature in the next release?
Thank you
Peter

Re: Disable folder sharing when in public WLAN
With Windows Vista and 7 you can control that by setting unknown locations to "Public" while known locations are "Home/Work".
Nevertheless a network sharing feature (that will allow this and more) will come later this year for NetSetMan.
