Re: Error when changing to a new IP address

Are you using the default or the new alternative activation method (can be activated in the preferences)?
If you change it, please let me know about your results.

Re: Error when changing to a new IP address

I am using the new alternative activation method. I unchecked that box and tried it again and got the following:

[0:00] Start: Home (20:46:48)

[0:00] Start: Local Area Connection
[0:00] Adapter found
[0:01] No settings to change
Please mark settings to be changed by activating their corresponding checkboxes.

[0:02] Finish (20:46:50)

I was attempting to go from DHCP to a assigned IP. I also noticed that when I slide over the icon in the system tray a window pops up but it don't tell me what my IP is. Also I was attempting to use a LAN connection. I hope this helps.

Re: Error when changing to a new IP address

There are a couple of details in your description that actually don't make sense to me. To avoid further misunderstanding would you mind recording your whole use case (setting up the profile, activating it, showing the TrayInfo, etc.) with a screen recorder? (For example with the free Wink)
