Netsetman systray icon changed to Orange

hello,

for a few times my computer shows the NetSetMan icon in orange instead of the default blue color.

I haven't yet understood the reason of it. Can you please, explain to me the meaning of this?

Orange? That's definitely not on purpose. The icon shouldn't ever change its color. However, I also have no idea where this might come from and I haven't heard about this problem until now.
Would you mind taking a screenshot for me when this happens?

Do all the other icons remain the same?
Do you change some graphical settings (resolution, color depth, ...) when this happens?

Wow, I'm really baffled. Does this happen just from one second to the other or is there something certain happening in between that might give a clue about the reason? Changing graphics mode, starting full screen games or applications... It would be even better if you can find a way to reproduce it. Thanks.

It's constant until i restart the PC or restart the application. Not even by changing profile the situation normalizes.

I do have a third party VPN software (OpenVPN) installed, but i didn't established any pattern or relation by using it .

You're describing the process that turns it normal again. That's not what I'd like to know. I need to know what happens on your system when the icon turns from blue to orange.

It has definitely nothing to do with your VPN. The source of this problem is some graphics issue that messes up the colors. The only way to find out is if you can reproduce the situation where the icon turns from blue to orange so you can describe the actions required for that. With that information I can start investigating.
