domaine member in win xp pro
I have just bought the pro version of your program and it works fine except when I tried to change from a win xp profile (work) using a domain and a profile (home) using a workgroup.
I can change from domain to workgroup ok but when I tried to go back to the domain profile the following morning, I could not log in and i had to ask the sys admin to put me back in the domain.
Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to do this ???

Re: domaine member in win xp pro
You join and leave a domain the same way as you would do it through the "Identification Changes" dialog.
By joining a workgroup you of course have to leave a domain. If your network does not allow manual leaving and joining than you should not use this feature.

Re: domaine member in win xp pro
Hi, I am considering to buy Pro, but I am als facing this domain issue. If I switch from Domain (office) to Workgroup (home) it is OK, but when I switch back to office it won't let me connect. Reading the above NSM Pro will not help either?
Is there anything my network admin can do to allow this? The platform is mainly Windows Server 2003.
Thanks
Jerry

Maybe this information helps:

NetSetMan won't do more than Windows itself. So if you can't join the manually then NetSetMan won't be able to joint the domain neither.
