Automatically disconnecting Network Drives before Mapping new ones
What about making NetSetMan disconnect the existing network drives before mapping the new drives from a different profile?
Ex. Z: on computer 1 and y: on computer 1, disconnect those before mapping Z: on computer 2 and y: on computer 2. If the drives stay mapped, the drives from the new location do not map to any used drive letters.

Re: Automatically disconnecting Network Drives before Mapping new ones
Actually this is already implemented...
When a profile with the Net Drive feature acticated NSM first checks for all net drives that are currently activated and compares them with the net drives in the profile. If the drive letter and the path are the same they will remain untouched. All the other net drives that are currently mounted but not in the list to be mapped will get unmapped. Then all new net drives will get mapped.
If you experience a different behavior on your system please post the activation log and send me your settings.ini so I can check the settings directly.

Re: Automatically disconnecting Network Drives before Mapping new ones
Version 3.0.3 (freeware) doesn't unmap drives for me (Using Windows 7 Ultimate x32). Drives are mapped when going to the other direction, but when the second profile that doesn't have any mapped shares is activated, the existing shares are not removed.

What is the log saying when activating a profile where you expect network drives to be unmapped? (in the activation window press the "+" button at the bottom)
And are you using the NSM Service?
