Domain works on one site but not another
First of all, what a GREAT product for people like me; I work at 4 different schools and have a home workgroup as well, and this product is an answer to a geeks's prayers.
Now, two sites are PC Managed Server sites, and one is a Mac OS-X site. I can set up for the two PC Server sites, but when I replicate the same setup for the Mac server site, I get a message "No such Domain".
Does anyone have some clues on this?
Paul

Re: Domain works on one site but not another
I'm afraid, I'm not familiar with Mac sites, so I don't know a direct solution for this one. But please have a look at the faq: www.netsetman.com/faq - you might want to try the alternative method which works in a different way. It's worth a shot.

Re: Domain works on one site but not another
Maybe some of you other users might know, I SUSPECT it's because the MAC server is using an 'alias' name as its server identification, and not its real domain name.
In the schools in which I work the domain naming convention is <school-p>.schools.nsw.edu.au, but this domain is simply called MBPS.

Re: Domain works on one site but not another
Have you tried the mentioned alternative method?
Have you tried entering the domain in that other convention as you described it?
