set SMTP
Hi, i have problem with setting the SMTP server.
I fill SMTP server (and other) and press "ACTIVATE". All setting was passed with OK, but SMTP server not. And SMTP server did not working. (In outlook i have set STMP server nsm.smtp

Could you please check, if everything is OK with your "hosts" file?
Go to %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\ and open the file "hosts" with notepad (or any other simple text editor).
Please tell me how many entries you have there (only a couple or a huge amount).
If you are not sure how to open or check it, you can also send me a copy of that file by email, so I can check it for you.

Hi, I reflected the same problem but I did not understand how you can solve.
all settings go through ok, but SMTP is "file not found" error 2 "
What does it depend?

Please open regedit and go to the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Tcpip\Parameters
Look up the value DataBasePath. What does it say?
