Integrate VLAN ID within IP profiles
I work mainly with internet services, and am constantly on and off different vlan networks to manage core equipment and customer equipment.
So I am using NSM to control my IP's but am still having to go into the network card properties to change my vlan tag, especially when commissioning new equipment/services.
It would be handy if NSM controlled all of this for me, I could then setup different profiles depending on where I am with the vlan tags already assigned.
My life would be a lot easier!
I love NSM! Just would love this feature to be added!!
Thanks very much!

Re: Integrate VLAN ID within IP profiles
I've put your request on the to-do list and already did a quick research on that topic. Unfortunately this topic seems to be driver-specific as there's no Windows interface for it and at a first look it appears that it works differently for different manufacturers. Also it doesn’t seem to be available for all network cards. On most of the test systems available here that option wasn’t present at all.
I understand that this setting is important to you (and probably to some other users as well), but for the moment I’ll have to queue this feature request. It seems quite complex to develop a suitable solution while at the same time there are some other often requested features waiting already for a while now.
I’ll plan this feature in together with the speed/duplex settings, because they’re also driver-specific.
