Network printers and authorization

I want to connect to a network printer in a profile as default printer which is not in my local printer list. And the printer also requires authorization (printserver) other than the logged in user. Then disconnect the network printer when the profile is not active. Is it possible to add this in a feature release?

I'm afraid, the printer feature is limited to switching the default printer between the printers that are already available to the the user in the "Devices and Printers" dialog. Extending the feature to a level like you describe seems a little overkill. Isn't it possible to install that network printer with the required authorization so that it's in your list and then switch from and to this printer?
