Installation error

Hello,
Sorry i'm french, it won't be easy...

I've installed NSm 2.52 free version, recently i've installed the latest free version and I lost all my settings... my fault I should have read the readme.
But the tricky thing is even if I unistall everything (2.25 and 3.23) when I re install NSM 3.23 the installation process ask for the Admin password ! (which, of course I can't remember
Is there a way, by removing a registry key or whetever else to re install properly ?

Could you please write down the text of the message you receive or take a screenshot of it? I'm not sure if you get a NSM Administration or an Admin-Mode message.

Delete the file settings.ini from the program folder and then run the program again.

I allready delete the entire folder under program files before installing, did I miss something ?

Well, I don't know what went wrong in your case, but if you do the following three things you should be fine doing a clean 3.2.3 installation afterwards (make sure it's downloaded from the official website to avoid having a modified version from somewhere else).

1. uninstall any existing version
2. make sure the folder was removed as well with all its content
3. delete the registry key HKLM\Software\NetSetMan in case there's a left-over because of the 2.x/3.x installation issue

Hi,
I found out, (with your infos)
I uninstalled Netsetman
I do as you said and look for HKLM\software\netsetman key, but nothing (probably remove by unistalling...)
I made a search and found this key in the registry :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NetSetMan]
and erase it
I re install and no prompt for password 
Now it works like a charm

ps : I didn't tell you that my OS was windows 7 64bits ...

It's the location that you've chosen during the installation of NetSetMan. If you kept the default location it's C:\program files\NetSetMan
