No Default Gateway
I'm trying to set up a profile that purposefully does not have a default gateway (so it doesn't interfere with my wireless connection). When I leave the 'default gateway' field blank, NSM still inserts a route in the routing table for a DG of my interface IP. How can I tell NSM to not set a DG at all? The route it creates has a lower metric than my wireless DG, so it kills all of my other traffic.
I'm using NSM 3.1.1 on Windows 7. Or is this a windows thing? I assumed it was NSM because I get the "setting default gateway... ok" message when applying the profile.
Thanks.

Re: No Default Gateway
The problem is that the interface for changing all the ip settings provided bei MS doesn't allow removing the gateway. Instead one has to set the gateway to the local IP address so that it's "removed" (it's not visible in the Windows IP settings dialog for that NIC) or better said "skipped" when finding a route.
This problem and workaround actually already exist since Vista and I haven't heard of any problem with it so far, so to be honest I'm surprised to read that it kills all your other traffic.
However, I'm currently working on a new way to change the IP addresses that won't have the limitations of the provided interface. Your problem will then be solved, too, but you'll have to wait for version after the next release because v3.2.0 is already finished and will be released next week.
