fehler 81 - error 81
i get very often error 81 when trying to set a profil.. (in IP and subnetmask)
why is this and how can i solve this problem?

i use windows 2000 and a ralinktech wlancard onboard (notebook) - latest drivers and SP4

Sadly, Microsoft gives only very rare descriptions for error codes.
81 Unable to configure DHCP service.
Maybe this is something similar to the error 95/96.
Please have a look at your Services dialog (type "services.msc" in the "run" window). Find "DNS-Client" and make sure it is set to "Automatically".

yes - it was/is automatically....
sometimes the error occures - sometimes it is ok...
