External IP-address
Hi,
Since I'm new in this forum, I don't know if somebody already requested this feature:
Shouldn't it be possible to also display the external IP-address in the popup when hovering the mouse over the NetSetMan-icon in the system tray?
Kind regards,
Joly

Re: External IP-address
Currently this is being done if the internet connection is established by a directly connected broadband or dial-up modem.
For all the other connections (based on routers) the only possible way to display the public ip is to establish an Internet connection and then check the IP. Because this creates a certain delay (between a few milliseconds and some seconds) the TrayInfo would need a bit longer to pop up.
For this reason it's currently not implemented. But it will be with the next big update around the turn of the year. Then you'll have the possibility to enable it in the new preferences dialog.
