Invalid IP and Subnet Mask Error

Hi there,

I got an error when I try to activate IP address. When I set the IP manually via network connection there is no problem to access the network.

Here is my IP details :

IP : 172.19.82.199
Subnet : 255.255.240.0

got this error message :

IP: Error 66
Invalid subnet mask

Please help.

255.255.240.0 is a valid subnet mask so this error shouldn't occur. Do you have additional IP addresses configured and one of those subnet masks is wrong?

If not then please tell me your OS and send me your settings.ini by email so I can have a direct look.

Well you're trying to set "255.225.240.0" and not "255.255.240.0". This of course doesn't work. Please correct this in your profile.

my mistake. sory for that. i miss look the subnet mask. thanks.
