[solved] unable to scan WLAN after update of WLAN driver

Hi,

just to report an issue...

I'm using an Intel AC-9462. After updating to the current official driver, the WLAN section is empty, see screenshot (with open systray and main window)

I already tried a complete reboot and starting the program as an administrator, but the list keeps being empty.

Details for driver: Intel Version 23.110.0.5 Date 2025-02-01

The SSID is not shown although it's not hidden...

This has probably nothing to do with the driver update, but with Windows 11 24H2 which hides the WiFi API behind location access.

Our next version will show the access restrictions preventing wifi access and will offer a one click solution. Until then you can solve this manually as described in the linked topic:
Windows > Settings > Privacy & security > Location
